To a-m ^ I meant overall and not in football only. All nations are built up by their youth while our young are playing in the park and hunting butterflies.__________________________________________________ ________________________________________

Our players grow up playing physically in the streets, while Japan has enough infrastructure to have their kids grow up in an actual academyOriginally posted by perspolis#1 View PostI have never understood why Iranian players like to keep the ball bouncing and try these flicks and khar kicks.
Whenever I see Japan or Saudi play they bring the ball flat down on the ground as soon as possible

By your logic, our players should also prefer to keep the ball on the ground if they play in the street.Originally posted by Pluto2000 View Post

Hitting the ball in the air will only break Aghdas Khanooms windows.
No one in golkuchik keeps the ball in the air. The goal is 2 ft tall max.

You guys see what happens when you put slow ass players in defensive positions
you need to have all the offensive players like hosseinzadeh and mohebi come back to defend …..
this team sucks
for the idiots that suggested GN is better than cannavoro
No fucken way
If Russia was in the World Cup they would be in pot 3 or 4 …
GN said on Russian television when asked what are you looking for from this friendly games he said important we get a good result cause of the rankings …
South Korea lost 5-0 against Brazil today so what … they gain experience

not talking about golkuchik. If you watch kids playing at school, usually they have those really really bad fields with like 80% mud and 20% decaying grass and the only way to get the ball forward is to bezan ziresh. Those fields are everywhere in Iran, from elementary schools to our actual pitches in PGPL with the grass being fake/bumpy.Originally posted by perspolis#1 View Post

Its why we always start glazing any actual dribbler that shows up once every 10 years like Karimi and Hosseinejad, because Iranian play style actively discourages that. Need to grow up in a certain environment to have that smooth dribbling style drilled into ur psyche

Everything about Iran is pure depression these days. Our football is just another example of the erosion in our society thanks to 47 years of looting. Still bring up some vomit when I see some donkeys saluting in the stands.
As for this match, an actual WC tier opponent will carve up our team. We have Ezatollahi who for the past 5 years plays like his shoes are bricks, teams routinely pass around him and get good clean opportunities to play a pass behind our incompetent back line. Taremi for the last 2 years has looked past his prime. I don't know why I am still seeing clowns like Ramin on the wing, have all the youth in Iran abandoned football as a career? It is possible, especially since we have zero actual academies.
Anyway, the best thing that can come of this is a thrashing and a firing of GN so we can get a semi-competent coach for the WC otherwise we are in for probably a historic low in spite of an expending WC format.
