They are rank 55 in the world
Uzbekistan are currently ahead of us in terms of tactics and adaptability in games. They will be better than us in the WC if they can sharpen their attack

Folks, we will get duly molested at the world cup if nothing changes.
I know exactly what you’re saying and completely agree, except back then we had a few quality players that we knew we could rely on. Right now it’s just hope Taremi adn Azmoun can score and we have zero spine.

This is the most shit TM I’ve seen in a long time. It’s literally getting the point of it being pointless for watching the games. Even when we win, we are conceding goals at the hands of Hong Kong, Afghanistan,Tajikistan, North Korea, etc. Wtf is even the point of watching and waiting for the WC?

What has GN done as a tactic other than bezan ziresh and cross the ball aimlessly to Moghadlou lol. It’s fucking ridiculous how bad of a coach he is, how little we invested in our youth since 2022, and the shit quality of players our league is producing with horrible mentalities. A red card 3 minutes into a low pressure cup final, really?! Good luck with top tier European teams… we are on the path to
top our 6-2 loss to England.

Dark times are ahead of us. Last time we were in a dark age was from 2007-13, GN was our coach in 07. Seems like a common theme with him.

Agha nemikham. Wanting Ghalenlei gone doesnt make you MEK, wanting CQ doesnt make you a Zionist.

Lets get a coach who understands how football works post2000 and they can be antiIsrael too. Nooshe jan

But that being said, none these are any good excuse for the performace we saw from our team, today. We were not a team and we didnt play football. I dont know what we played, but wasn't football.

    - lack of game plan and strategy
    - wrong player selection / substitution
    - lack of character and decipline in the team,
    - too much energy being spent on yelling, jumping at the ref, embalishing fouls and garbage instead of focusing on the game,
    - inability to demonstrate basic football skills even by our so called stars - can't stop, can't pass, can't cross, just a mumbo jumbo of acts you never see at international level
    - total useless coach and staff. I dont know what they do, what instructions do they give to the players, what data or facts do they use to justify that what we saw was real football
    - many teams play with 10 men. Why did we play like bunch of scared chickens for almost 120 min?

Say a big goodbye to any prospect for us in 2026. We will be the standing joke.

yep. even if we fire ghalenoi now (which i hope we do) i don't see how anyone is going to come in and salvage anything with the time left and lack of friendlies or facilities

That was tough to watch. Sardar adds a lot to this team and his absence was felt. TM looks like they need a lot of training.

The player who should have been red carded scored on us.

Referee really was horrible. GN actually had decent tactics after the red card.
Issue is he spreads a very negative, complacent and panic filled energy into the team.

I want GN fired as much anyone else but the Ref screwed us over. The penalty on Kanani was %100 and over turning the Red Card on the Uzbek player was a joke.’ Even Infantino was surprised by all this. Button line, we lost this game to the corrupt Refs and VAR team.
