just like everything else that IRI touches and it turns into black dust. IPL is no different.Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostThis thread used to be a hot one few years back with some euro transfer and the first thing i used to check when browsing around!
now is all about some tokhmi IPL or uae transfers… sadly the reality of our football in last few years tbh!IRI = FAILED

Well ipl salaries are much higher than the mid and bottom team clubs- players would have to accept a lower wage and higher taxes to move to Europe and I don’t think our players wants that .Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostThis thread used to be a hot one few years back with some euro transfer and the first thing i used to check when browsing around!

ipl top clubs seem to have cash to burn on salaries and can afford to overpay players more than their wage worth . Teams like esteghal have had higher budgets than previous years
and of course Dubai and Qatar are tax free and places where players will look to join for the easy life
can’t see this changing even with regime change in Iran. People will still seek out the easy lifePlease watch and Subscribe:

I don’t think IR going will have any impact on our players decision to move to Europe.Originally posted by Nokhodi View Post
With IR gone players will have even more excuse to be goshad and stay in Iran or go to uae.
it’s simply a case of Europe’s tax being too high and Iran and UAE being too high wage wise on relative terms
I fully believe the likes of SS, Persepolis and tractor offer silly salaries that no mid team Portuguese or Belgian club could really afford and there in lies the problem . There’s no incentive for these players to leave and If anything the disposable income of the likes of Esteghal has gone up in recent years.
we need a coach who will actively penalise players for going to the uae or Qatar trouble is so many of our players play in these sooti leagues now that a boycott would leave our squad too thin.
our players don’t even seem to try a variety of leagues maybe a couple of j league or k league transfers wouldn’t go a miss just to get used to new environments
but even that seems a stretch too far for these lot
imagine of Lee kang in or Mitoma was born in Iran he’d probably be at al-duhail for 5 years followed by a 2 year stint at benfica then back to al Shabab al ahli
