Let’s be honest. Our best players that anyone would start in a WC match tomorrow are in 2 groups.

Those that are undoubtedly fixed:
Sardar
Taremi
Mohebbi
Gholi/Ghaedy (we’ve accepted that Allahyar won’t be invited under GN even though he’s one of our brightest)
Ezza

Then there’s the question mark positions:
CDM
RB
LB
CB x2
Goalie

Here the issue is a mix of talent and GN sticking to old players. I believe the bigger issue is talent. I invite anyone to name 6 deserving starting caliber players for these positions where there would be no argument that they are the best.

Anyone with a brain know who should fill those spots assuming all players are healthy and at top form.
CDM still needs to be ghoddos, as he is declining he is still a league about everyone else
RB moharami
CB 2 - majid hossieni and hazbavi
LB - they all suck but probably milmo
Goalie - Hosseini

North Korean player broke Razzaghinia's nose with his head and got replaced for Moghanlou. I guess GN wasn't enjoying Yousefi at RB because he brought in Hardani for him at min 30 even though he wasn't even bad lol.

Agreed 100%. I was quite impressed by his performance, at first I thought it was the Mohebbi who plays in Russia, but upon showing his face while celebrating, I realized I was dead wrong. Anyone knows how old he is?

For sure. And it’s also the way he runs. Looks a lot like Torabi. Him being left footed also brings a different dimension to the team. Would love to see more of him against better comp to see how he will exactly fit. But we have a log jam at the winger position.
