I’ve never felt this unmotivated going into the WC my entire life.

What is there to hope for / look forward to? We spent years with a useless coach that we should’ve never hired or kept for this long. We have yet to see a game where we had any tactic other than bezan ziresh, hope bipolar Taremi isn’t in his depressed phase and Azmoun is in the rare 2 months of spell of not being overweight and faking injuries to come off the match. Other than that, Our team didn’t invest in youth at all, the coach just walks around feeing sorry for himself and gives no advice. Wtf is frowning going to do?

This is all pointless guys lol. Let’s face it, our best chance was in 2018, this team is just an older, garbage version of that squad heading into the tournament 8 years older. Not a single player has gotten better and we’ve offered no solutions.

the quality of our league has also continued to get worst. I guess it’s less stressful having no hope or expectations this time around. A loss of Qatar from match fixing. And needing a red card to beat a team like North Korea….

Those that are undoubtedly fixed:
Sardar
Taremi
Mohebbi
Gholi/Ghaedy (we’ve accepted that Allahyar won’t be invited under GN even though he’s one of our brightest)
Ezza

Then there’s the question mark positions:
CDM
RB
LB
CB x2
Goalie

Here the issue is a mix of talent and GN sticking to old players. I believe the bigger issue is talent. I invite anyone to name 6 deserving starting caliber players for these positions where there would be no argument that they are the best.

بازی سختی بود چون کره برای برد اومده بود و سخت گل میخورد ولی بین دو نیمه با بچه ها حرف زدیم و تاکتیک رو مرور کردیم و دیدید که چطور نیمه مربیان رو بردیم.

کره هم که همش دفاع میکرد ما هم بخاطر معرفت ۱۰ تا کرنر بهشون دادیم تا خسته بشن. وقتی که اون بازیکن یکی از خشن ترین خطاها رو روی بازیکن ما انجام داد حقشون بود که سه تا گل بخورن. شهریار هم سعیش رو کرد و من دخترم رو بهش قول دادم که دومادم بشه. باغبونی هم خوب بلده و چه پیتزایی درست میکنه که نگو و نپرس حالا اگه چند سالی صبر کنین گل هم شاید بزنه. بهرحال این هم یه بازی پر از کلاس مربیگری برای جوونها بود و دیدید که صدرنشین هم شدیم. در ضمن در این بازی ،بازی به همه جوونها رسید و خوب از پس تیم چغر و بد بدن کره در اومدن. بهرحال به همه ایرانیها تبریک میگم و به حق مردم و اعمه و ریاست محترم فدلاسیوون فوتبال آغای تاج که زحمت بسیاری برای من کشید و بهم چندین سکه داد و من هم به احترام ایشون خفه خون گرفتم که تا امروز باشم و به این مملکت اسلامی خدمت کنم.

GK is essentially fixed. It is either Beiro or Hosseini, likely beiro
CB will be Kanaani and the other will be Shoja/Aghasi

Lb is probably Milmo, and RB is open

the saddest thing is we have no young players to show off at World Cup for clubs due to these terrible squad selections. I think we tie African team at World Cup and finish with 1 point
