I am sure now with Trump they are all scared they might lose their green cards so they will behave as well. No Palestinian flags and etc. This was actually a great news because many of the so called Iranian fans (IR fans) would come to USA due to the WC but now they can't which is great. The regime would spend so much money to destroy this WC in America even sending terrorists so Trump was one step ahead.Originally posted by mani4000uk View Post
on paper yes but remember f..ing Obama gave hundreds if not thousands of Green cards to all the regime family after the 2015 agreement and there is enough of these vermins around to come and support them in the stadium granted the opposition to them is probably bigger but they will be a pretty loud minority__________________________________________________ ________________________________________

Taj is the real reason we are in this Mess.
First with the Vilmots fiasco which made IFF go broke, and then by picking a person like GN to be head coach. He could have rectified his mistake by replacing him after the AC but he did not. And he cares absolutely nothing about our youth teams. One of the reasons Uzbekistan has improved so much is because they put great emphasis on their youth.
With a right coach we still have time to prepare for the WC but knowing Taj he will not do anything. So Prepare for our most embarrassing WC if GN is kept in charge.
So overall.... Taj has been a crappy IFF head.

Taj is a piece of garbage, incompetent, and has no drive. The current TM can change +/ - 5 % with coaching changes and squad selection. Where our football will really suffer is the 5 years after that because IFF has done next to nothing for youth football.Originally posted by Damavand View PostTaj is the real reason we are in this Mess.

I hope all these rumors about the hot seat and him inevitably leaving is true……I would do anything for him to be gone, I cannot stand seeing that MF for another second….
my top 5 candidates would be
1. Carlos Caravhal
2. Ange Postecoglu
3. Moaris
4. Stramacconi
5. Osmar
…..by all means, NO IRANIAN COACHES PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!Team Meli Iran
Perspolis FC
Malavan Bandar Anzali

I keep seeing Iranians throw the wildest names out there like Ange or Xavi. no offense but we don't have nearly the amount of money to offer nor the pedigree to pull someone who just won the Europa League...Originally posted by Ghermez Agha View PostI hope all these rumors about the hot seat and him inevitably leaving is true……I would do anything for him to be gone, I cannot stand seeing that MF for another second….

Carvahal is a great choice! I think you can't go wrong with any of the rest of them. Besides maybe Morais who should not be anywhere near TM with his awful player management.
Realistically he's going to appoint Golmohammadi or Majedi. Any foreign coach will be someone like Osmar Loss probably.

Ange is for sure a realistic candidate….sure he won EL but he is an Aussie who has coached the Australian NT and is very familiar with Iran. If his priority is to coach at a WC then it makes it even more realistic…..if he wants to stay in club footy then of course it’s not and that will be the reason. Don’t forget when CQ came to Iran he was coaching Portugal NT which is not a smaller role/job than managing Tottenham. Also re: budget, for better or worse…..Taj has a track record of tapping into big $ to get big name coaches.Originally posted by Pluto2000 View Post

I do think carvahal is more realistic than Ange anyway that’s why I put him as 1. He can bring out the best of Mehdi (as he did at Rio Ave) and for all the attacking footy tactic lovers (which is the vast majority of Iranians) he will be able to meet their needs and keep the fans happy. Also great at maximize potential and over performing at times…..guy just knows ball.
Portuguese coaches in general are best equipped to succeed in Iran IMO bc they have a ton of drama and khar to khari in their footy.Team Meli Iran

Will yc counts as well?
All yellow cards are wiped.
If players on a yellow get yellow carded vs NK they will NOT be suspended in the world cup.
Players with red card suspensions direct or indirect will have to serve. I think Mohammadi is only suspended for 1 game so he is ok for World Cup.
The crazy statistic I saw is TM has 6 red cards in 20 games. Worst disciplined side in the history of Team Melli by this "disciplinarian"
