The MOM in the Qatar game in my opinion was Lucas Mendes.
He was so damn good defensively.
he was also the one who provided the assist in the first qualifier leg.

He is suspended for this game though.

I Want to have my hopes up for this game, but it Will probably be a very conservative boring lineup with the usual suspects.

I never say that we must change 11 players, as it doesnt really help us going forward. But you have to try 3-4 new players WITH the main core, so they Can learn to play together, if they one day have to. Or maybe to see if they are better than some of the weak link. I really wanna see a player like Aghasi in defence to see if he is better than what we already have. I also want to see if a player like Hosseinnejad Can function in our current team and tactics.
also Hosseinzadeh, Can We bring is form from IPL to the national team?

I really hope We Can see Them in action and get some answers

Ghaedi injured. Y’all really thought the young wingers are gonna start????

get ready to witness Taremi LW and Ghoddos RW for both games

Perhaps these injuries are a blessing in disguise, allowing GN to start new players. Otherwise, he would use the same 11 players again.
            IRI = FAILED

no this is GN doing his dirty work , we will lose to Qatar mark it , GN has already sold the game

              Mohanglou will be starting,,,

I wish Taj would just fire GN already save us the embarrassment in 1 years time …

I could also see us fielding 10 players instead of 11. In that scenario Taremi will be positioned at the halfway point between striker and LW in the top left corner

Real talk this would be my lineup:

                  Hardani - Hazbavi - Aghasi - Milad

                  Eza - Ghoddos

                  Hashemnejad - Hosseinzadeh - Hosseinejad

                  Taremi
                  • People forget Hosseinejad played on the wings for Sepahan and his current club in Russia frequently.
                  • Taremi can drop back and play deep while our young quick mids take the attack.
                  • Tell Ghoddos to play deep and focus on defending
                  • Tell Hashemnejad to mark Afif
                  • Tell Aghasi to mark Ali
                  • Tell Milad to stop ball watching and sulking when Beiranvand tells him to get off of his ass and actually defend

The word “experience” is ruining and killing our soccer. I have grown to absolutely despise this word because of TM. These guys are all professional soccer players. They can handle running around a field and kicking a ball. Trust me. You do not need to be 28+ to do that. You don’t need to be 28+ to say to your teammates “hey I’m open” or “man on”. What on earth does experience mean when it’s playing against North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, and UAE. Now I’m getting a migraine. Goodbye

This seems to just be a scrimmage but in a compressed space to really close down spaces.
I don't think its anything bad on its own.

The problem is Taj himself. Firing GN means nothing as long as someone like Taj is running things. Look at the damage this man has done to our Youth football.
