Nowhere near as bad as the histrionics suggest.

Played with mostly a second string squad against a very motivated Qatar in June after end of season.
Were a man short for 70 minutes.

Negatives:
GN is either:
1 - too stubborn to make different changes, or;
2 - our talent right now is so bad that these really are the best players who he plays on the field.

Team needs real matches now against big teams who will put us under pressure and press all game.
Pay as much as we can to Mexico and South American and African teams for friendlies. Forget about Europeans playing us.

cmon man you know its the first one. Its the same reason we lost to Algeria B but beat Uruguay 2 months later. Skocic vs an actual decent NT coach. This coaching staff doesn't know anything about holding proper drills, camps, tactics, or anything. Another one of the BS calls lol literally the advantage was a negative. And ref gave no Qatari a yellow until 90 minutes when it didn’t matter after they spent the entire second half fouling us. It was so obvious it was fixed I don’t see how there’s even a debate.

nobody is saying our team wasn’t at fault themselves for being poor, that’s also true. But not being able to tackle for a ball, getting punched and kicked above the knee without a red is so blatant. How did the tackle on the knee not even have a VAR review? Check and see how many times since VAR has been introduced they’ve recommended a check by the ref, and the ref has given a YELLOW. It literally never happens

I don’t get how anyone can say this match isn’t fixed the ref literally gave a yellow for our player getting elbowed in the face when there was no ball near them, we got a high kick above the knee no red again. The Qatari players are fouling for fun knowing they won’t even get a yellow and our players breathe near to a Qatari and it’s a foul.
