Is going to a low tier Russian team really better than going to Qatar/UAE?

Now that the season is coming to a close, in retrospect I am suspect about a lot of our youth going to Russia.

    Lets review:

Hosseinejad -> $1 million transfer to FC Dynamo Makhachkala and despite doing excellent, the coach is constantly benching him. Every time he scores a goal or has an assist he gets benched for 2-3 games.

Saharkhizan -> An even more egregious case...$1 million transfer to Orenburg and scored almost 10 goals for them in the first half of the season, then they completely benched him after new coach came in. Nowadays they only sub him in last 10 minutes.

Taheri -> Has only got 8 minutes of play time in almost 13 months in Rubin Kazan. Half the time he's not even on their bench, but hanging out with their reserve.

Reyvandi -> CSKA keeps loaning him out to random Uzbek and Croatian second tier...

So.....what's going on guys? It seems like there is a massive pattern of our youth getting bought by bottom tier Russian teams, then getting benched the whole season. Is staying in bench in Russia really better than going to UAE/Qatar? Especially low tier Russian teams like Orenburg who are about to relegate..

This whole thing smells like money laundering operation where they buy our young players for an egregiously high amount only to never play them. Something is off and I can't put my finger on it. In terms of facilities is Russia really better than the oil rich clubs who spend millions on their stadiums and buying western players/coaches?

I disagree, Russia is much better than UAE which is just the heaven for koon goshadi, no fan passion/presence/pressure and a low level with slow, non physical play. I admit UAE has good pitch, some good foreigners here and there and give some little self confidence but that's it.

Btw Hosseinejad played 85min against 2nd place Zenit today and you forgot Ghorbani who played every game for Orenburg and Mohebi that transformed from a headless chicken to a superb player in Russia.

Russia is far from what it was before but it's the closest option to west Europe football for our players

well put, even more importantly in my view is getting these young lads broken in and accustomed to European way of life and culture etc..!(expedited Maturity)
although i admit that is a bit of Baptism by Fire in Rooosia..!!
but the next thing you know, like Sardar they bring their nanne to cook ghormesabzi for them o la layee konadeshoon to sleep at nights..!!

off course woulda been much better if iranian youngins coulda taken a foothold in a better Western EU footballing country but considering iran's situation, roosie perhaps is the best we can hope for on that front.

      ps
UAE and such tokhmy soft leagues maybe not be all too bad for our aging, koongoshaad, already tried and proven EU fail players, to help them recover physically a bit so we can milk out a another year or so of service from them Hopefully while we use that time to prop up and ready a formidable, promising youngster as their replacement..!!

It's much tougher playing in Russia than UAE/Qatar for sure.

But it is a bit of a dead end...

I much rather prefer Portugal/Netherlands/Belgium and even Polish league!

          It is so much better.

Now during sanctions the benefit is less but its still better than UAE.

Iran as a footballing nation plays snail pace football and going to UAE and Qatar just emphasizes it that.

At the bare minimum in Russia our players are closed down faster and requires them to make decisions faster

Exactly, Last year Hosseinejad was like Ronaldinho in IPL, his dribble was often succenful against the like of Pourghaz.. I watch him a little in Russia, it isn't very easy for him to dribble some russian guy like he did before. And it is the like of them we will face in world cup, not the tourists Ghaedi dribble wth ease in UAE

Saharkhizan had a great season and showed himself to many potential suitors. Lets see what happens with him...

HosseinNejad has actually improved a lot this year. He is not having it all his own way and actually having to improve his decision making and off ball play. Showing much more complete performances besides just a few nice dribbles and offensive moments, which is critical if he is to become an offensive midfielder in top EU leagues in the modern game.

Taheri is a kid. He is learning his trade. Reyvandi you didnt even know when he was in iran lol, the guy was playing in 3rd division with an academy side. CSKA actually gave him RPL game time and he is also learning his craft, be it in uzbek or croatia or wherever else.

Mohebbi progression in russia has been incredible. Ghorbani was doing well there.

ITs not perfect but your analysis of their respective situations isnt realistic or honest. Level of coaching and intensity not comparable to arab leagues.

Meanwhile same RPL we complain about gave Khvicha to Napoli and now starring at PSG and playing CL final...but apparently its not good enough for our dumbass players...lol

I'm not against top 5 RPL teams. Mohebi has been great in Russia. My problem mainly stems from relegation level Russian clubs making big offers for our players then not having a serious plan for them.

I am not sure how much sitting on the bench of a club based out in Dagestan helps our players any more than just going to Al-Wahda. I could see it justified if they were given starter roles but alas.

If any, they still play against harder opposition than in UAE. And some good performances Can earn Them a transfer to a better russian team.

UAE and Qatar Can never be recommended unless its and older injury prone player who has fully developed, and just need to stay in form for crucial TM matches
