Exactly. I watched enough from Shakouri to see how hungry the kid is...he would have 10x the gheyrat of Beiranvand with plenty of talent. Bunch of old ghouls at the helm of our sports...watch him invite Niazmand again. That's what I don't get either, like agha okay Beiranvand I understand, but why not invite two other young goalies instead of bums like Niazmand and Pourhamidi or something!

Honestly that last CQ stint was barely coherent with all his lineup and formation problems...so it leads me to think he just didn't have enough time. I don't think any coach can prepare a team for the world cup with only 1 full camp and 1 domestic camp.

Or at least that's what I tell myself as the excuse of why he started our C+ team against England. Cheshmi, PAG, and Karimi...all while we had players like Torabi, Gholizadeh, Ezatollahi, Kanaani (he was better 2 years ago) sitting on the bench
