WTF is Beiro doing? Why does he lose his s*** on his teammates like that? That's not leadership, it's childish. Embarrassing.

On multiple occasions the defenders literally shut down and stopped defending and left UAE with very clear chances. Either the defenders were on the wrong side of the attacker or just left them wide open. He was right to lose it. They easily would’ve scored 2 headers if their attackers were better.

We are shockingly limited in the CM / CDM positions. Hard to believe that Cheshmi is our starter, as well as Ghoddos who was never supposed to play that far back long term. Or Ezatolahi who has one good game every 15 matches at best… our defenders are also slow and falling asleep

But very impressed with Mohebi, he seems a lot more calm and confident when Taremi isn’t playing and bullying him constantly or Azmoun ignoring him to just feed Taremi. I’m still not convinced Ghayedi can play above the level of Asian opponents, but maybe can be a super sub. Azmoun’s touch is awful, but his base talent remains high for positioning and power to score.

We haven’t gotten out of second gear so far in the qualifiers, and I haven’t seen any improvement overall since the Asia cup. Our team keeps getting older and older and the WC is around the corner.

glad we won, Uzbekistan will be a much stronger test.
