Overall a very good result, well-done TM. Given the distance travelled, preparation, humidity, going down to 10-Man. NK were decent in their own moments.

The GN’s post-match comment sum it all. Football thought them a lesson. However 99% of managers, replace a lost Centre Back with a new one and take off a forward instead . Furthermore replace Ghaedi with a a defensive midfielder straight away.

A jet-lagged Taremi (Beast in the first half) could have come off a little earlier too. Sahar-Khizan would have been a good choice for me.

GN is so attack-minded he may think even with 10-men by keeping both his strikers on, he could keep up the pressure on the Koreans. .

We shall definitely make it to the World Cup but I fear playing the likes of Spain and Argentina with this management! 🤞

Defenders cannot let that go man. Its drilled into your head that you can't back down from a challenge like that.

If you were a coach and Shoja had let that go, you'd have subbed him right away.

Football is a game of millimeters, so I really don't blame him for it.

I am more concerned with Nemati being in the wrong spot for the 2nd game running

On this field there was a decent enough chance North Korean striker misses or runs into Beiranvand, all danger dissipates and thats it.

I think the worst thing this exposes which we have talked about before is that TM players, when things dont go their way resort to stupid fouls.

This situation is the latest example.

Even in Uzbekistan/Qatar/UAE games if we lost a 50/50 our teams solution was to foul the other guy instead of winning the ball back.

This is going to cost a lot when there are players who can simulate better than Taremi

There is problem among tm players over who should be the capitan...we need jb back in form start and wear the armband.

Btw, did anyone else hear what the TM assistant was saying to Shoja when they were exiting the pitch at halftime. I forgot exactly what he said because it’s been a while but it seems like some players were beefing during the game. I think it was something about how they should be friends

He was really bad. Made some really bad mistakes. I think the Shoja red card was on him. But as people have said, when you are up 3-0 and an entire half is left, you let him go.

No other player causes a red card on teammate. Shoja has no brain! Your team is up by 3 goals and you risk the entire outcome by reducing your team by one player and not one goal. Where was his logic as a professional player.

And .. Every good player has bad days but it wasn't like Nemati had a bad day .. they guy does not understand the basics of defending. His moves, positioning and passes are all wrong.

Whats up with some of the players attitudes. Taremi and Shoja often looks like someone who are angry at everyone around them.

the positives for me are the 3 beautiful goals. We sometimes win by scoring some crappy goals so I appreciate the beautiful goals today. But Wow the space between defence and midfield is crazy, even in the first half

Points off top of my head:
Positives:
- our final touch/finishing in the first half was superb. Much better than previous games
- we scored 3 beautiful goals
- special shout-out to mohebi for shooting 2 extremly POWERFUL and STRONG shots straight into the back of the net. No fancy mancy little dinks or finesse shots

Negatives:
- having a hard time defending Shoja after his red card against Qatar and now this. Nevertheless, this one was a pretty tough call. Barely touched him and didn’t seem on purpose
- extremely bad attitude from you know who. Seems like people don’t understand how much power bad energy can have on a team
- horrendous substitute decisions
- bad defensive shape
- some fans tend to go beyond being fans and enter the realm of glazing players
