Despite the score this Yemen team isn’t bad at all. They unfairly lost to Uzbekistan and the red card today wrecked them. Before the red they broke through our middle and caused a lot of trouble.
we still have not been truly challenged yet and I think both Iran and Uzbekistan will play less hard in their final group game.
there are quite a few decent players in this group so don’t crap all over them if we get knocked out in the QFs.Comment

I watched the full game and I was really impressed by this super tall Mobin Deghan kid who was at CDM. He was serving some really nice prime Kanaani long balls and passes. You can see it in a few of the goal highlights.

Dont remember Nekounam with any bangers from outside funnily I only remember his set piece goals,headers and poacher finishes.
I've seen Ezatolahi hit the post a bunch.

the pgl rule of all pgl teams must include 2 u23 players for each game roster , WE START SEEING BLOSSOM right away in our u20 team.
this rule won't help u17 team but it be massive for u20, and 23. LETS NOT FORGET HOW BANING FORIGNER GOALI IN PGL was responsible for so many goalies coming up asap.Comment

I keep watching the first goal against Yemen and laughing my ass off. I have watched every single senior TM game in last long time and I truly can’t think of a long distance strike as good as this one. How on earth is it that when our main team shoots the ball, it either goes to nasa or it bounces up and down off the ground or moves at 2km per hour. This is just wild. Cheshmi strike was not at all as clean as this one and Ahmad noor doesn’t do it in competitive gameComment

Andarz has not started either of the two games if I’m not mistaken and he looks a bit Sardar-like (aka chubby). He’s been the prospect I’ve been most excited about in the past few years. Does anyone know what’s happening with him? Is it the coach’s strategy to rotate players now to save them for knockout round or is he having fitness issues?Comment
