Bottom’s up. Bless you for joining in the self torture.

If anyone wanted to study why we have sineh zani in our culture they should watch our football 😂

Low educated and of course shitty federation and regime has nothing better to offer.

Japan works hard and plays a solid football. We don't so lets not expect anything before we get to the real issues as this will continue as long as the IR is at the helm of our country.
    webbie Jan,

believe it or not Hussein Abdi has a UEFA A badge for coaching. He’s seen the world, has played football at a decent levels and even speaks decent English. He actually likes youth football and is coaching for minimal money while much worse coaches make 10x in the league.

    The real reason we lose:

1 - we don’t have factory style production. What I mean is Japan has a system where even if they don’t have the best players in terms of talent, they will all have a fundamental set of skills and discipline that will take them far.

2 - lack of accountability. We as Iranians don’t take accountability for things when we’re in process. Doesn’t matter what area of life, politics, age, religion…, we only apologize at the end. We need to work hard every day.

having said all that we still only lost on penalties. Abdi should be promoted to u23 coach. We have very good players who if they have proper advice and ambition can start in Lower leagues in Europe.

If I am not mistaken, the last time we won this tournament was in 1976. This game pretty much showed how ahead of us Japan is in Football. As usual they will go on to play at the WC and be exposed to European scouts while our players will just go on being unnoticed..

One thing I noticed is our conditioning was way worse than the Japanese side. Both Mobin and Razza were wearing knee braces since the start of the game. Not sure if there were injuries going around

We played some beautiful soccer in the group stages. Scored some brilliant team goals. It’s a shame that no matter the age group, we are simply serial chokers when it matters

Is he a serpent or something? I would not do that on an international broadcast being shown around the world for a million bucks

Even that one was almost a loss, Haj Safi almost sent it to space but he must have been using a Blue Origin rocket instead of SpaceX that day fortunately!
