If you want a serious answer, the reason you don't see it in TM is because of the way the team is set up. Strikers seek bezan ziresh crosses and are always in the box.

That means most of the time the only people who are available for long shots are our two midfielders, and occasionally wingers...

This leads us to Ezatollahi....he has been a TM starter for 10 years and only has 1 goal. He lacks too much technique to land a decent shot outside of his passing.

Nourallahi has quite a few long shot goals in TM

Same with free kicks, TM doesn't have a set piece coach. That's why you randomly see Taremi take a free kick one day, and Ghoddos the next.

We also play with aliasghari long balls in Sunday league.

The second the ball lands and people of all ages still get shots on target from outside the box. Heck when one team has a terrible goalkeeper some people try to blast it from half field. Our goals are also more thab half the size of regulation goals which are huge in comparison.

And that is tokhmi league not a league where people are expected to be the best of 90million.

The technique of getting the ball on target is nonexistent in IPL. They just blast it and hope it goes in with zero regard to downbounce, upbounce, location of goal etc.


There is no excuse for a nonGK player to not be able to take a shot from outside the box and make it at least close to being on target even from a semiprofessional level.

Exactly. And I want to make this clear that I don’t expect bangers every game, or even goals for that matter. I’m just expecting the ball to travel at above average speed and hit anywhere on the target except for where the goalie is standing. It’s not that big of an ask. Every time we shoot the ball: the ball is bouncing on field before hitting net, going over, going out, straight at the keeper. Unbelievable

Bangladesh elite meaning in the 2nd league. But still have to play another less-achivers like themselves first.

There’s literally no excuse to how bad they kick the ball. All soccer players except goalies should be expected to shoot the ball better than average joe

How on earth is it possible that there is no Iranian player on team Melli (the highest level of Iranian players) who can take long range shots. It’s incredibly depressing. On god me and my friends can shoot from outside the box better than every single Iranian professional footbaler

WHY OH WHY are domestic players in Iran SO BAD at long shots. Every shot is in the sky and off target.

We are allegedly #3 globally in IQ. We have more physics majors than we know what to do with them.
