I’m usually not one to buy into the long term Covid hype, but it is interesting that after he got Covid he never physically got to that top physical form.

Didn’t that coincide with a big injury at Bayer Leverkusen I recall he had a bad injury there

When he played in Russia , he was not allowed to be out of shape …. At zenit, when he went to Bayer Leverkusen the coach at the time , gave him some sort of grace period like 6 months to get himself in shape , and basically he got injured twice during that period , once Xabi Alonso took over he told him you get in shape or you won’t be on the roster or even play ,,, same thing happened, then went to Roma fc ,,, which Jose mourinhou did not care if he was in shape or not , cause he wasn’t going to even use him for more than 5 minutes anyway soooo he got massively lazy in Italy ,,,, he knew he wasn’t going to play , only garbage minutes so he didn’t care he just got out of shape there ,,,,

at Al ahli the Arabs won’t pay you to get fat and lazy ,,,, so he has to get in some sort of game shape ,,,,..

Sardar has a ceiling. He is way better than the Asian level , he can easily dominate in n Asian ,,, but once you face defender that at like half athletic or can run fast and have endurance he can’t beat them …… think about it , he needs to be in the best shape and actually put in everything he has even if it is only for 45 minutes, he can’t be on the pitch for 75 minutes and just be doing light jogs …… he is the most naturally talents attacking player we have ,,, we need him if we going to beat teams in the WC , we need him fit

My comment was in reference to his historic laziness and whiner attitude, not political.

He’s had fitness issues for the Best part of 5 years now I think he knows his body is bust

I think his dropping from the team was for his emryati handshake as ghaedi made statements against the ir but wasn’t dropped

altogether I think he should’ve left Russia earlier and should immaturity getting caught with that whole scandal with the baby and the Russian ex which seemed to affect him going forward

Still greatful for him still a true talent just a shame how his career was managed but not every talented person can succeed and not everyone will make it and I understand that

^ he is still one of the best Iranian players of all time BUT He doesn't play for the Islamic Republic. He plays for Iran. hope some of you get it. If not, you are not really Iranian and F you.

Reading few comment from Ahli’ s fans, seems like Sardar’ s form since coming back hasn’t been good! it is kind of normal for first few games but lets see how things go in next couple weeks!

he's been injury prone with fitness issues for the best part of 4-5 years now. Part of the reason why i think he took the dubai offer in the first place was that he knew his body was breaking and he wanted to cash in
