I am not too mad a the decision, I think he is most comfortable in Holland and we have to accept that his form / potential for the most part has been on a decline for the past few years. Staying in Holland will keep him in better shape than UAE / Qatar / Iran, he has to be in Europe to keep any hope alive that he will be somewhat relevant and useful still. Although I personally haven't seen him do much in TM in "recent" times other than the burst he had under Skocic actually. Lets hope this suits him and he grows, and as other members said this will allow him to get Dutch citizenship and maybe allow him to move more freely within Europe before the WC.

^^ We do not know what goes into people's lives and their decisions regarding their careers and choices. He makes decisions about his own life.
Regarding TM, he does not invite himself to TM, the coach does. Y'all should be pissing on him instead! If GN invited me, I would go in a heartbeat, although I should not be anywhere close to TM; but I would go.

well tbf, he coulda well joined a lowly Eredivisie club some 6months ago too and not vanquished on the sidelines waiting for Reality to finally hit him in face full force ..!!Originally posted by nisfejahan View PostCome on people. Don't you ever get tired of shitting on TM players? Be happy for him. If true, he has landed a place that suits his personal and professional goals.
Go JB.
i maintain, shoulda been dropped from TM a long time ago when he became unemployed... it woulda done Both him and TM a lot more good than harm..!
ps
like i suggested months ago, he should stay in Eredivisie and if indeed $$s werent to be main focus of his next transfer then try to find any club there that woulda guaranteed him the most prominent role and guaranteed playing minutes ..! i think Feye and few other higher profile Eredivisie clubs were willing to offer him low budget contract$ but non were looking to him as a frequent starter and most just wanted him to be a bench reinforcement option..!!?
honestly i was dreading him moving to a mid table to lowly team in SerieA, suspected he would struggle even more so than before in such a defensively stout and high pressure league and that probably short stay certainly woulda put a final nail in his EU career..!

I am not saying he should or should not be invited to TM. He has had some good games, and some no so good games for TM. He has had some good club games and some not so good club games.Originally posted by Pluto2000 View Post
It comes from being focused on TM itself.
Years of accepting mediocrity = our current situation. In a normal country ARJ would be dropped from TM by now, sorry that's just how it is. We're not normal though, so we have to accept it unfortunately.
Maybe he can come back to TM when he can make a single pass without tripping vs Qatar 🤷
More power to him and wish him the best but TM should not be a charity for estranged/clubless footballers
He is in the twilight of his career. All I'm saying is to be happy for a fellow countryman who has found a job doing what he loves after a few months in the wilderness—no need to shit on him at every chance.

Obviously I won't believe it until I actually see him announced by the club, but it's the right decision.Originally posted by Essi View Post
He is more or less guaranteed to have regular playing time, and stays in Europe.

This would make the most sense, thanks for the insight. The situation was very oddOriginally posted by oracle View Post
Jb is waiting for his Netherlands passport so he can more easily land a European club.
He will most probably go clubless until winter transfer.

Ghaedi and Mohebbi are defensively shaky. Will be a huge issue against better opponents.Originally posted by Pluto2000 View PostMohebi and Ghaedi both need to start, and we need to find a way to play both on pitch together. ARJ needs to be benched forever and we need to start using Allahyar/Gholi as subs (Gholizadeh is perfect as a super sub IMO).
I know Mohebi is not very clinical or technical, but he provides a type of hustle and narekhar play style that is lacking with ARJ/Gholi.
Having him start on the right like he did vs Uzbekistan/Qatar is the way to go in my opinion. He also plays as right inside forward for club.

With or without a club, ARJ should not be anywhere near a starter for TM. Nice guy, but truly overrated during pretty much his whole career.
