I mean really its undeniable...he's literally top 3 in terms of goals and assists .

People forget what life was like before Mehdi and Azmoun. Missing world cups, losing to Kuwait, etc. Just this cycle we were so bad that without Taremi's goals we would have lost to 3-4 games.

Without Taremi this cycle:

- We lose to Hong Kong (3 g/a that game)
- We tie Kyrgyzstan (he scored the winner in a 1-0)
- We lose to North Korea twice (4 assists and 1 goal between both games)
- We lose to Uzbekistan once (2 goals)

That's 10 points he directly clutched for us in round 3, and believe it or not we would have been in 4th place without his contributions

He was also instrumental in the 2018 and 2022 qualifiers. We haven’t had anyone play consistently well at TM since Nekounam and Mahdavikia.

We have to accept he is coming to the end! He is not Ronaldo. He is 33 and will be 34 in next WC! If he manage to end in decent league it is a plus but realistically Greece, Turkey top teams will be his most likely target!
