Taremi subbed. Inter lost the title so basically we hope for the next year and Inter to keep Mehdi.

So back to praying for any Iranian to succeed in anything. Maybe in the CL final. 🙏🙏🙏

Inter really screwed up the league. They had multiple chances to put the league away and each time chocked. They were just a 2nd best team in every tournament this season. Maybe in next week he can win something.

He was. Now he started and Inzaghi would not start an injured player.

He has a bad hernia called pubalgia, which can be masked with physical therapy but if he exerts himself it will come back immediately. Unfortunately he will be injured until he can get mesh surgery and take 3 months of recovery. Many football players wait till after they retire to get the surgery, which I think Mehdi will. He will probably play at the same slow speed, because the hernia is awful. His intestine falling into his groin if he runs too fast.

I'm guessing he nursed the injury to the point its manageable but he needs to keep it safe otherwise it will act up again.

Inter were clearly the superior team in all of Serie A however in domestic competition almost every time the stakes were high, inter managed to choke & under perform ..!
They all but formally gave up the scudetto vs Roma or the game prior to that ..!?
inzaghi lost the plot a bit on that lil stretch of games when his starters were clearly nackered & fatigued AF but he kept insisting on playing them 80+ min game after game ..!
lets hope they win the UCL & make a deep run into the club world cup or this season’s endings will go down as one of the most unsatisfactory, disappointing & underwhelming ever by a top club in Europe ..!

Nothing against Taremi though, Pubalgia is a valid reason for his decline. Just goes to show that our players can never produce like that no matter who they are.
