I love how he forced him to go right as much as possible and as soon as Yamal would try to cut to his left, MT would go in for the tackle and succeded twice, and failed once or twice too cause Yamal's just so damn quick, but hey he fared better against Yamal than any Inter defender including Demarco

I'm proud of him. We all know that Mehdi is not the most mature, sometimes acts rashly and emotionally.

After getting all that hate from the fans, he showed up with a performance like this on the biggest stage.

He wasnt nervous. He played smart (as he typically does) with excellent defense.

He showed the world that Inter is not "too big" for him and Iran's football has immense potential. Something that us delusional fans have always believed in.
