Reality is Thuram has three shots (1 on target). And Taremi has a few key passes, one interception, and some defensive hustle. Unfortunately, for a striker at this level, shots is the metric people will be looking at.

Don’t know what game some of you are watching on here. He’s playing well, hustling their defence and keeping them busy which is opening up space for others behind him like Barella and Zielinski. Also opening up space for Thuram , who has been poor.
He is playing his role well, sitting back when needed and playing as part of the press for the counter.
He’s playing the best team in the world and I feel like some won’t be happy unless he has 3 goals and 3 assists.

that is dramatic, we would be happy if he gets an assist or mega happy for a single goal. He's hustling but he needs to deliver in that final moment to solidify himself in this team

I’m very pleased with Mehdi’s first half, hustled well, great link up play. Only thing is he needs to be more greedy, if this was team Melli he would have had at least 5 shots already, but you can tell he’s nervous and doesn’t want to F up and taking the safer option …

The person who matters the most is the manager. Would you rather someone be kept on who is taking poor shots or the one who is setting up the opportunities and playing well on the counter.
