My Greek frriend just texted me and said that in Greek Media, it's official that they have signed a 2-year contract. Seems to be a done deal.

Bumping this as it's a good post about why this is a positive move.Originally posted by Pluto2000 View PostAm I the only who doesn't think Olympiakos is a bad option?
They play UCL, lots of veterans, win the league frequently, and he can rebuild his confidence in a much less defensive league without all the pressure in a world cup year.
This guy is gonna be 34 next year and is dealing with a sports hernia. Why are people's expectations of him like he's a 25 year old? No he's not going to go Fulham and score 20 goals in the premier league and be a ballondor contender...

he can easily be added to league .... with UCL im not so sure they have already turned in their roster for it ?? if so, he probably can not be added at least not until group stages are done , i believe..!!? that used to be the case, but im not sure if those rules changed with this new expanded UCL group stage..?Originally posted by PrinceAli View Post
He’d be an idiot to stay. They didn’t register him for the league or UCL. So he’d be rotting in the club in a World Cup year

I'm not sure if the Werder Bremen interest is legit, but if it is, he should seriously consider it.
Werder is currently playing their winger as a CF. They need him badly and he'll play minutes immediately. Finished 8th in BL last year. I just dont know if they can afford his salary.
Bundesliga suits Iranian players much more. Open attacking football. Better than crappy boring defensive Serie A

He had a interview today where he basically said he can stay at Inter if he wants.

While my interest in our football after recent events has shrunken tremendously I find this still depressing. for someone like Taremi he should stay at inter, be a thorn in their ass by staying on his high salary.

Of course Taremi should not accept a back up role, for sure not ar olympiacos.
i dont know whats usual but if u can sign a guarantee for xy playing time taremi should only go there.
i hope its england, france or germany,

His performance against Wales is the best performance by an Iranian player in a World Cup game.Originally posted by mehdi13 View Post
He scored when the game was over 0-4. It had as much impact on the result as me sitting at home eating kotlet and drinking whisky.
