I thought u said if tt lose in pk, then if KSa team lose in semi match vs uae opponent than we keep 2+1.

I thought that a penalty win does not count, but it turns out it does in AFC for coefficient. Its basically the same as Tractor losing from open play. As it stands we are guaranteed only 1+1 no matter what. Interestingly enough, if Uzbek clubs keep performing better than ours for 2 more seasons, we will lose guaranteed spot as well. We would only have 1 playoff spot + 1 ACL 2

Sometimes the answer is simpler than that: Iranian players suck and cannot take penalties. If you want proof just go back a month to see our U17 take pens. We are collectively unprofessional and anxious, and our league doesn't prepare these players mentally to handle this at any level
