They have Dabo, Karimi, Shekari, Habibi and Sarshogh. They do have a midfield. Dabo, Karimi and Shekari on cam is a solid midfield. Habibi and Sarsogh are good for subs or hazfi games..

Dabo and Karimi are both defensive mids. Shekari is winger. Sepahan has no playmaker. Sending incomplete team to AFC will bite them in the ass.

One of Shekaris main position is cam. He played there for Iran aswell. This is far from an incomplete team.

Shekari is definitely not a winger. The guy is an old school 10. Only problem is the position doesn’t really exist anymore.

Even without a ball carrying midfielder, there is so much danger all around the pitch. Hardani/Goudarzi are excellent defensively and can run up and down those wings. Aghaeipour is in good form and Rezaian is gaining excellent pre-season form too. Limouchi/Mohebi/Yousefi are all excellent and speedy on the wings as well. There are a bunch of players like Shekari/Dabo/Karimi/etc that can also fill the midfield role too.

It would of been nice if they could have added 2 decent foreigners particularly in the midfield and winger spot but management failed while Pp is trying use their party bazi to sign more foreigners when their slot is full for not playing their foreigners enough last season.

Which foreign imports are that good compared to before? Kakuta is a big name for IPL (remains to be seen if he is finished or not, it seems he wasn't good lately in french 2nd division), the rest...

2016 Sunderland payed $20 mil for dider n'dong so he was once upon a time a desired played and he seemed to have stayed fit last season

can't help but thinking the IPL is just a dumping ground for players who want one last paycheck but aren't good enough for Saudi Pro League, UAE or Qatari leagues so they come here instead.

AbdulKarim was an ex asian player of the year and former asian cup winner- pretty big name really . dont think he was here long enough to really judge his ability.

Locadia has declined a lot since he left persepolis - failed in Chinese super league now is in the third division of spain with a poor scoring record- his divorce seems to have ruined him.

Roberto Torres seemed pretty consistent but I'd say Udanov for Persepolis has been a great signing i think theyre sure to make a profit on him
