but reality is something else. Current players are simply better.

We are qualified to the next round. There will be minimal consequence to try some players in what are essentially one friendly and a game to decide group.

Any damage that might happen to us when it comes our Pot placement etc is far less than the damage playing Kanaani, Rezaian, Hajsafi at WC in 2 years against young wingers/strikers

Both Jalali and Hardani deserve to be our fullbacks right now. Goudarzi has also been a nice surprise this season, he's been very powerful on defense and attack.

I'm 90% sure he will start Ramin and Milad vs Uzbekistan though (and our eyes will continue to bleed as usual with how loose our defense is)

Danial imo is best rb in iran right now.he is great defensively and he adds like a ghost on offense and comes back like a ghost on defense but he is in general dog house so it be surprise if called up...I take him over Ramin any day at rb.....hardani and ramin will be rb call ups until moharrami is game ready. He will take 2 rb.

General will go all out against hongk ,that way a tie vs uzb in tehran is enough win group.
unless uzbakistan drop 4 to 6 on turkamanestan
then that's plan is doomed...

abulfazl jalali has been a beast and definitely deserve start in hnkg match

His xA is very low compared to the actual assists - which shows alot of luck is involved in their finishes.
