Bro they were pelting players and referee with rocks.
That's not passion. That's barbarity. I don't care if it's in Netherlands, Argentina or Iran, it has no place in the game.

Both teams should have their fans banned for the rest of season.

We need to create an environment that in the future, anyone thinking of stoning people on the pitch would have to worry about fellow fans shunning them

In Argentina league the referee and players dont get attacked the way it happens in Iran.

Fans in Indonesia are "passionate" but their teams still cant do anything at a decent level.

Passion is coordinated cheers, chants, TIFOs, attendance, travelling support etc.

Not chanting for 10 minutes and then eating pesteh for the rest of the game like most PGL games.

These are the same domestic fans who serve up death threats for their favorite coach getting "insulted" or their favorite player being ghosted on Team Melli.
