I see this awful trend of putting the first name in the shirt continue with our young players. Fortunately Taremi and Azmoun stop this shit

Neither Iran nor Russia can seriously hope to send players to Europe. Instead of waiting for a miracle and wasting time in IPL, it is better to choose Russia like Azmoun did before. Maybe in 2-3 years, Russia will have better relation with West Europe and will be back in UEFA competitions.

Rubin Kazan believes a lot in our players, same with the Russian league in general. This is great news, hope it’ll work out

Some players move abroad and succeed some players fail. Statistically they can’t all make it .

We had shekari and saeid progress not so well. Although shekari even struggled until recently in Iran and always had shady contract situations surrounding him, and Saeid is known for his lack of discipline/professionalism at club level everywhere he goes.
Saeid still notched up a champions league goal in Russia so arguably he did a lot more than a lot of our Belgian league prospects

Yes i also read that Ghorbani to Orenburg is a done deal, let’s see what happens.

We need at least 20-30 of our 19-22 year olds to transfer to Europe coming years to build a solid team.

Great move, as long as they leave Iran. Be it Russia, Greece or Turkey.

Our best Striker prospect after Saharkhizan. Already good enough to start in the bottom of the table PGPL.

Positive: Physical, quickish for his size, good at pressing.

Weaknesses: Selfish, finishing below par for a striker, at times seems moody/immature.

The closest comparison for his style is Shahab Zahedi, although Kasra's ceiling is much higher.

Congrats to him! He was stunning in his cameo vs Brazil in u17 WC with goal and assist.

Working with a solid coach in rashid rakhimov, himself a great player (as well as legionairre in austria and spain) and well respected coach (coached milad in grozny, speaks fluent persian).

given his age (17 until august) and raw potential this is a respectable move. He has huge physical ceiling (both height, strength wise and esp. speed) but combined with excellent footwork in tight spaces and good game understanding (passing, link-up, weight/timing of final ball). This combo is very rare and one our CFs dont have since Taremi/Sardar.

For ex compared to allahyar who was purely physically dominant at lower age groups Taheri ceiling seems much higher to me.

One thing is he can get a bit erratic with his finishing IF he misses a couple. This was especially evident at Asian Cup to qualify for WC. On mental side he will have to improve this aspect a lot but not unheard of for CFs his age and much older.

U17 Iran Center Forward. Has been playing for Sepahan youth teams. Great to see any youth players get out of Iran.
