Lol. I do think the newer generation of Iranian parents are more supportive. But Iranians are more pragmatic too, so if my kids comes to me and says I want to play in the NBA, I will absolutely laugh at them. I’ll be like in the meanwhile waiting for that dream, let’s read this math or chemistry book.
