I agree with you 100%. This is discussed on social media mostly by East Asian fans. This was clear offside. But IRI has no teeth to fight its main friend in the regionOriginally posted by webmaster View Post
I guess you sucked at math because yes you can. I have two masters so fold immediately. I am waiting for others to answer you.sigpicSUPPORT TEAM MELLIIRAN- IRAN - ONLY IRAN

This is basically the answer....right here. Its clearly onside. Look at the border between between light and dark grass behind Ramin and Almoez Ali. Globe is not flat...you can't just draw straight line across a skewed perspective to the leftOriginally posted by Rezzy View Post
pretty sure that’s satire because the line has to be straight use the darker grass as a ref. Ramin’s leg plays him on

To those of you who say that was a 100% penalty.......
That is not at all the point.
The point is that the referee had complete discretion to call or overrule the penalty.
If the ref was paid or just biased, he would not have called it. By giving us the penalty, he showed that he was not biased.

Dear. You should also consider that there were many other 50-50 and even 70-30 and 100-0 s that he did not call. He didn’t do us a favor. That’s how referees act when they have been closing their eyes on earlier incidents. They simply go: ok I didn’t do it last time now here we go. But since we have been so many times wronged; as Webmaster said; we have got used to be wronged and when even something is really right call; we see it as a favor. That’s how they are plundering our nation whether mullahs at home or others in the region. They give us one chocolate and cake the whole cake behind us. Believe me dear. Watch the game again and listen to AFC commentators (not to webmaster). Cheers bro. Sorry if I can’t agreeOriginally posted by Iran_19 View PostI actually was surprised he called the penalty!
It was 50/50 and he opted to our favour!

When ref wants to throw a match not every single call will go against team he wants to lose.Originally posted by koorosh View PostTo those of you who say that was a 100% penalty.......

Did the referee create that big hole in our defense?
Did the Qataris pay off Taremi to disappear in the middle of the game?
Did they pay off IFF to hire GN instead of a international coach?
Did they cause Moharrami's injury?
Did they make up our roster to bench all our fresh players? Keep Gholi and Mohammadi and Torabi on the bench?
Please read Abtin's post above again.
We lost to Qatar and it was our fault.
Stop blaming everyone but ourselves.

FIFA has to change the rule for the VAR to stop calling offsides based on the position of a player's body and body parts and simplify it to PLANTED FEET placement which is far more logical. After all it is FOOTball.
It's just straight up silly to me to let the size of a player or whether they're hunched over or leaning back, or sideways at the time of the pass or shot be the deciding factor when you're dealing with millimeters. Just look at the size difference between Kanani and Ramin in that picture. Kanani has a good 35 lbs on Ramin and with the current VAR programming or whatever, Kanani keeps a lot more forwards on than Ramin would!
Ramin's right foot that's in the air keeps the Qatari on, and his left foot which is planted on the pitch, makes the him offsides - and if you simply go by PLANTED foot or feet, it's an easy offsides call. Sardar's goal against Japan would've been good too if it was judged by Sardar's planted feet placement vs the Japanese defender. Not saying this to be biased towards TM but it's something that's stood out to me and bugged me for some time now.

This is not true. Sardar's goal was called offside against Japan for his hip/butt being offside (totally silly, but that's what it was). The only part NOT included in offside calculations is hands/arms, since you can't score with hands/arms.Originally posted by FeLFeL View PostFIFA has to change the rule for the VAR to stop calling offsides based on the positioning of a player's body and body parts and simplify it to PLANTED FEET placement which is far more logical. How is it not true then? Okay not ALL body parts excluding hands/arms as you mentioned, but they're still calling it by body parts (hip/butt as you mentioned) and it is just ridiculous. My point was for them to go with planted foot or feet instead of body parts and body position period.Originally posted by diz View Post
