I have a couple of Arabic friends and they all told me the same thing , the one friend from Egypt Told me that Saudi’s Arabia and Qatar have a track record for doing this ;

Saudi Arabia literally paid off the whole Egyptian team at the World Cup so they can lose against them in Russia

he said no way Iran loses to Qatar other than players were paid off , he said Qatar will do anything to win important games…

That's obviously not the case...all this talk of throwing and paying off are based off of anecdotal evidence. Don't take these types of talks seriously without hard evidence. Think more about it like 13 year old girls sitting around each other on sizdabedar drinking tea and telling each other rumors

And with all due respect, such a B.S. What about last 10-15 minutes when they were working their ass to score, hitting the post? Bikhial, we should accept that we lost and not for money or anything else. We were bad, our defence sucked.

Interesting fact. In the 2019 tournament, we scored the same amount of goals (12), but only conceded 3 (all to Japan in the final game). This time we conceded 7.
