Guess what the long balls are actually working and the Japanese players are having trouble dealing with them so anyone complaining about them has 0 footballing sense or knowledge. Our players don’t have the quality to play on the ground vs a team like Japan. If we play on the ground it’ll end up intercepted and we get countered. At least with the long balls if they don’t work we get to reshape. This game besides the lucky bounce goal is definitely been even. If Sardar decides to put on his big boy pants we could definitely get something out of this. So far the plans beeen good but lucks not really been on our side. We will score but winning depends on players like Azmoun…

You guys still think ghalegohi picks best starting lineup? Mohebbi is a liability. Ballhog and turns ball over way too easily. Not smart tomplay him against speedy japan. I like Omid but he is too old and too slow. I would bring in ehsan and gholi for omid and mohebbi. Eshan in front of milad move saman to middle and hane gholi on right. Move jb closer to sardar. Their goal was shitty but one of our players should have not allowed a shot or worst case blocked that shot.

My only worry is our players get tired midway through 2nd half and Ghalenoi. Those two are disasters.

Absolutely we can win this game. We are getting the opportunities, now it's about getting the shots and putting them on frame.

Notice the Japanese players can't contain our players in the air, Azmoun almost got brought down with a foul. Keep putting them under this kind of stress and a mental lapse will occur. It's something they cannot really handle.

look he dribbled well and took out two of our guys but the ball bounced in his path towards the end to set him up for a shot which 7/10 gets saved to go out but this time it went right in. So yes I’d call that a bit lucky
