Started their last game against Eckert's team and played 69 minutes! Had a shot on goal. Next game is today

He might not even need that long if he can have a big impact.

Brentford has just signed Igor Thiago from Club Brugge for €33m, 7 months after he moved there for €8m. Belgium is fast becoming a popular feeder league for top leagues.

Ezatollahi as talented as he is, did not do so well in Russia and his club spells have not been too successful either. So we shouldn't judge based on a few bad spells with Turkey & England. Maybe he needs to find the right club for development.

The only thing worst than his team is the quality of Belgian league streams.

I forgot how difficult it is to watch Belgian matches.

He has had an okay half. Need a few months to get into the rhythm.

Looking at their squad list , pretty exciting team (for Belgian league) to play for. Very young squad, they are buying a lot from academies around Europe etc.
Then they have some seasoned professionals at the end of their careers like Chadli (what a good player he was) and Neustadter.

Edit - just looked and out of 8 forwards he is the second oldest by two months.

Ah Delfi...let me tell you a story of that man...he was scammed and bought by a little club called Charleroi who also scammed Noorafkan and Gholizadeh to 5 year contracts. They benched the poor guy all season before loaning him to Croatia, where he suffered an injury that he never recovered from due to being out of shape from not getting enough play time. He suffered a brain and knee injury at the same time

Yunes Delfi is bitten by injury bug. The guy could never stay healthy. Also his ceiling was never as high as Allahyar. Allahyar has all the pedigree to be a decent football player in Europe. Part of the problem is the unrealistic expectations we or people put on these young guys. He is never going to be the man like everyone anointed him after U17, but the guy is still young and has a bright future. At this point it’s really up to him. Is he going the Mehdi route or is he going the Ezzi route.
