Portugal and England both have two teams, no other European countries have two yet
Portuguese sides Porto and Benfica have qualified along with Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid due to their co-efficient rankings. Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are also through.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, German teams Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, and Serie A sides Juventus, Napoli and Lazio are vying with Red Bull Salzburg for three or four of the remaining slots.
Real Sociedad, PSV Eindhoven and FC Copenhagen are in the same situation as Arsenal and would need to win the Champions League this season in order to qualify.

Does anyone care about this tournament?
How is there not more uproar about this.
Players are still dropping like flies from an overloaded schedule, and this means there will be Euro 2024, WCC 2025, and then WC 2026, so some players will literally not have had a summer off in 3 years.

It was literally just announced today! (top link)
I think it will take time to build momentum but you can see how big clubs feel about it:
Liverpool have been denied a place at the expanded tournament after Fifa confirmed that Chelsea and Manchester City would represent England

It's a good opportunity for our club to play top opposition. Unfortunately, the qualifying system makes it impossible for us to qualify.Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostDoes anyone care about this tournament?

Could well be 3 out of 4 AFC slots if either Al-Ittihad or Al-Fayha win the champions league.Originally posted by Nokhodi View Post
