So what if he lost a few times? In the context of it all it literally doesn't matter. We are extremely ungrateful as a country to a guy who singlehandedly rebuilt our entire team in 4-5 years into a powerhouse with greatest amount of legionnaires we have ever had.. WHICH we are still reaping the benefits of. This Iran squad of players is our collective best set of players we have ever had.

I also still don't get why we decided to fire Skocic because of a single friendly loss to Algeria and a loss to SK which we did not have over half our starters. We are incredibly arrogant as a country and think that we are as good as France or Argentina or something to be able to achieve a 100% win ratio forever loool.

Just wait till CQs players and influence leaves TM in the next few years and our ranking crashes back down to the 30s and 40s. We'll see where all the people who bash CQ are then.
    - I think ppl feel QC held us back with his defense first style of play, in games that we should have tried to win he would go into the game with a defensive approach.

-his professionalism, his ability to train the players and get them both psychically and mentally ready was world class , just his defensive approach was too cautious..

-Skocic was a good coach with an attacking focused way of playing , getting ride of him was a mistake , but I think his players revolted against him, he basically lost the dressing room ..

    - these ppl that bash CQ , have to think back to where we were and where we came to with CQ , yes his style wasn’t pretty and ultra defensive, but he did bring a new Bach of talent .

We have a very dominant record against them since the 90s.

    Our records against Iraq:
    Total games: 31
    Wins: 17
    Draw: 7
    Loss: 7 (2 during CQ)

We most likely get arab teams in Quater finals. Most likely Syria .

    My prediction:
    Top group with 7 points

    R16
    Syria

    Quater:
    South korea

and I don't think we will make it out .

AC isnt ready for the combo of Taremi, Ghaedinho and Cheshmis right foot. 😁

THIS CAN BECOME A FUN TOURNAMENT, AND A ONE TO REMEMBER

Also m, its about time thar we win a game on penalties. BUT I HOPE WE DONT HAVE TO GO THERE. Allready lost to much hair after all the TM shootouts in AC during the 2000-2024 timespan..

Dige chachal misham agar dobare bere be penalti shootout..

Last time we played Jordan, we created enough chances to win 6+ to zip. ... But the difference between Iran and Japan is they play by the book, disciplined and do everything spot on, we on the other hand‌, play without our head, give up the game in the middle, rush towards the ref like bunch of maniacs and ask the ref to give a yellow card to the opponent player. Otherwise we have nothing less!

It will sink in when they score 4 goals on us too . What will define TM this tournament is truly what our gameplan for defense is....everything else is passable and can compete.
