Kluivert has really done wonders with them , he was one of my favorite strikers. the fact that they made it this far is quite an achievement

I wouldnt say that exactly. He has only coached two games. A blowout by Japan and a 1-0 over China.

Shin Tae-Yong was the previous coach who worked in getting the dual nationals and setting up them up. He was fired after a poor performance in a SE asian tournament but the WC qualifying campaign is mostly his.

Regardless, this Indonesia team is questionably better at passing than our TM and if thats the case we should be in disaster mode

not sure why I thought he was there from the beginning of the campaign but I think Kluivert Managed their Bahrain Win too , Let me put it this way if GhaleMorghi Newcastle had those players we would not even be following the 3rd round qualification now (no disrespect to all the dual nationals in their team just pointing out the incomptence of our managing staff)

they’ve gotten smoked in too many games and unfortunately will get knocked out in playoff round.

I really like their team but they should rely more on their domestic youth, than mercenaries. They actually have a lot of good young talent.

• Fourth round: Six third- and fourth-placed teams from the third round are divided into two groups of three teams each. The teams will play against each other once in a centralized venue. The winners of each group qualify for the World Cup, and the runners-up of each group advance to the fifth round.
• Fifth round: The group runners-up in the fourth round will compete home-and-away over two legs to determine the Asian representation at the inter-confederation play-offs.^[2]

The slot allocation for the inter-confederation play-offs was confirmed by the FIFA Council in 2017. Each confederation received one play-off slot, with the exception of UEFA, with an additional play-off also given to the confederation of the host association(s).^[2][3] As Canada, Mexico and the United States were later appointed as hosts for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, CONCACAF received two spots in the play-off tournament, while the AFC, CAF, CONMEBOL and OFC each received one.^[4]

The play-off tournament will be held in one or more of the host countries, and will act as a preparatory event for the World Cup.^[2] It will take place during the FIFA window of 23–31 March 2026,^[5] less than three months prior to the start of the final tournament. The play-offs will feature six teams, split into two brackets of three teams, with both bracket winners qualifying for the World Cup. The teams will be seeded into brackets based on the FIFA Men's World Rankings. Each bracket will feature two unseeded teams facing each other in a semi-final, with the winner advancing to the play-off final against a seeded team.^[4]

The play-offs will be played in single-leg knockout matches. If scores are level at the end of normal time, 30 minutes of extra time will be played, where each team will be allowed to make a sixth substitution. If the scores remain tied, a penalty shoot-out will be used to determine the winner.^[6]

I looked at their roster, and it looks like the Netherlands D squad. 95% of the players are dutch.

Without these Dutch player, Indonesia team would have never have got this far anyway Indonesian domestic players suck , it all cause of their Dutch player that they are even still in the World Cup qualifying
