It should be mandatory for Hazbavi to get a haircut if he wants to play. What the hell is the point of inviting mehrdad mohamadi. Interested in seeing more of hosseinnejad. Always had a soft spot for karim AComment

Good to see Hosseinnejad, Azmoun on the list.
Mehrmo and Ansarifard have done nothing to deserve a call up. Hazbavi is a marginal call as well.
Also is there only one Left back there. Who's going to back up Hajisafi?

Vis vis is asadi got into it with general start of last camp..general wanted try asadi at cb his true position and asadi refused.
general told hs assist tell asadi pack his bag get out of his camp.
taj got involved both asadi and general agreed dont talk about it to media AND USE SEPAHAN FRIENDLY as an excuse for asadi leaving camp.
that's why asadi was not invited this camp.

very happy with that list. Only changes for me would be mehrdad out for mohammad omri, daneshgar out for Majid. Pretty sure majid is just coming back to full fitness so he will 90 % replace daneshgar in final list for AC, and of course Torabi will replace mehrdad and rightfully so.
Great to see HosseinNejad called up. Really well deserved. We need a 8 who is highly technical, fast, and a ball carrier - i.e can receive the ball in tight spaces and drive with it, breaking opposition lines and then selecting good passes. He is that guy. And very impressed with his off the ball work rate. Good to see Hazbavi in there too. These were the standouts from u23 and u20 before that.
And we tried to replace Ansarifard with a younger backup CF. Moghanlou got 4 camps and plenty of mins and sadly sucked! Karim was and is a much more complete, much more intelligent player, and a leader as well. Only other guys I would like to see instead would be Alekasir or Alipour. Alipour obviously not fit yet, but my ideal backup CF. Could also be where eckert comes in, which I think is an option that may be gaining traction...

Lot of options for that final slot up front. GN seems to like Mohebbi who is rounding into form nicely in RPL, improving his overall game there. Still I think Torabi is our best winger (injured this camp), but ARJ involvement for an excellent feyenoord side in CL action this season means he should not be counted out either.
Rest of the team picks itself imo. Too many beiro moments of madness in recent times, moharrami is much more ready than ramin who cost sepahan badly in ACL already.Comment

10/23 are legionnaires. I remember GN haters used to say he will stop inviting legionnaires for PGPL scrubs. Hasn’t been the case so far. In fact, Ghoddos getting way more minutes with him, and nice to see an experienced Karim back in the squad for leadership purposes and maybe 10-15 minutes in a close game.Comment

Ansarifard adds much more to our midfield than as a forward. If y'all remember last year vs Senegal/Uruguay correctly his link up play with Ghoddos and Taremi is really good up front. Though.....he is 34. 😭
On the BRIGHT side. Hope Hazbavi and Hosseinejad get given chances.
