I think it's difficult to find form for a team if you've only played 3 games. For some players, it takes a significant amount of minutes to find momentum for a new group and build chemistry. Shahriar is still figuring that out, and I wouldn't say it's a good idea yet to pull the plug on a striker who couldn't score in a few matches - Kenya, Russia, and Bulgaria (coming on as a sub). So far, he's played about 200 mins for the national team and hasn't made a huge impact. That's not much time. I think after he scores a couple goals he could find his groove to become the lethal striker we need, like he is in PGPL

His scoring drought extends to his spell in Portugal. If he isn't central in the system nor against a weak opposition, he become inoffensive

You praise him for drawing two fouls (which mean Little in football outside the danger zone... it's not basketball). I point out that he committed double that himself. Plus he got a yellow which is significant problem. You then refuse to admonish him?

Someone here commented that he was lucky he didn't get a red card. We have disciplinary problems historically and yellow is a problem in tournament football too.

His job is to score goals. When he misses 1v1 chances then its a huge problem for us. Watch his game against kenya and Russia.
Also everyone can play kharaki football and get yellow cards. Dude will get a red in big games .

He didn't miss 1 v 1 chance vs Bulgaria!
Also not every single chances will result a goal and many strikes even top ones miss chances!
There is different between playing Kharaki and pressing and no it is not easy job to constantly press!
Bottom line is the way you guys speaks is like strikers growing on trees these days!
We are not producing top level one like Azmoun and Taremi anymore and with like Moghanlou you have to be patient and give them some time! I mean what are the other options?

I think with inclusion of Jalali, Allahyar, Gholi, maybe Yasin depending to kind of seadon he will have, we may have a chance to make some damage in AC , Japan still remain our main rival, i believe the rest are beatable with right game plan.
What i did like about GN so far is he didn't BS about playing attacking football!
Regarding strikers it doesn't matter if it is Moghanlou, Zahedi, Asadi, mamad agha sim kesh, at the end the big 2 play main role and GN will most likely use Mohebbi, Allahyar, Gholi next to them if the other strikes dont convince him!

When issa is physically fit and ready and knows how to score why not give him chance. So to answer your Q if Daei is fit and ready to play 90 minutes then WE must be stupid to not invite him. Giroud , Modric , Pepe , Kawashima , Alves , Silva ..... If a player is ready invite him. I don't care if he is 51 or 15 .

Apart from SK (QF) not of the other teams are physical. UAE , Palestine , HONG kong and possibly syria are NOT physical.

We should have a mix of fit players Young + Old!

HosseinNejad is the answer for CM. He should play as the 8 with saman, saeid anchoring behind them. Ghorbani from sepahan (21) is also an excellent prospect at CDM, best one since saeid. He should compete with Saeid for starting berth.

Ali Karimi, Yasin as additional options in the more advanced midfield slots.

Nourollahi should be binned. He is so limited its scary.

These sepahan kids in ACL will be tested, they already show they are above the level of our kiri league. Lets see how they fare.

Don't sleep on Yadegar, he's mainly been playing pivot/anchor role for Pogon. Kid is very pacy and technical.

Khodabandelou is also a VERY solid option with good experience to put in a double anchor with Saeed behind Ghoddos.

We honestly have GREAT youth prospects, we just need someone to put them all together intelligently instead of Noorallahi spam

Agha fekr konam your long term memory don't work. Issah has been great over the past few years. When he was in Perspolis ACL and now sepahan. Isah was just an example, there are more players that can be tested out.

Aslan bikhial issah , moughanloo is waste of space he should not be invited. New players should be tested out. End of discussion
