    No more excuse for sponsors being Alcohol or Gambling companies

    Over the past two decades, we all read in news how Islamic Republic of Iran Football Federation did not sign agreements for friendly matches or declined participating in tournaments because of sponsors being alcohol or gambling companies. Examples of these would be friendly matches with Greece, Kosovo did not happen, possibly friendly matches with Poland and Norway did not happen for the same reason. In 2022, FFIRI refused to participate in Kirin Challenge Cup.

    However, let's look at all the known football tournaments or friendly matches that Iran did participate where sponsors were Alcohol or Gambling companies.
