It’s just sad to see how people are making fun of our country in social media thanks to incompetent mullahs ruling our sports. After not qualifying to Olympic qualifications; now this huge unbelievable embarrassment. Losing to a team that is just a warmup team for conceding goals 10 and 3 an 5 and 6 against Iran and Uzbekistan!!! I wished we’d lost to Thailand of all. That way we could escape the embarrassment

Lets face it : we suck big time at youth level at the moment!
I watched the whole game and despite having possession we had no game plan and our players IQ is so low! And that is vs 28th team of Asia!
We were lucky this time we didn't even face Saudi, Uzbeks, Japan, Korea in elimination round!

None of these players qualify to take spot of any senior players in tm for 2026wc.

Keep the same tm players for 2026wc.
move hajsafi and ramin to bench

Starting line up for tm first game of 2026wc and ac27.

    Biravand
    Moharami majid kanani jalali
    Saeed. norafkan
    Golizadeh. Mohebi
    Medi. Sardar

by the time u23 players develop it be after 26wc/ac27.
there should be no hurry to replace above starting line up, they have 4 years of life left in them.

I mean everything on the side; having only two substitutes and all that ok!!! Agreed. But losing to Hong Kong with only conceding 1 goal? Enayati beside not being a good coach has the stinkiest luck man!! I’ve never seen a coach to face two impossibles twice with only conceding two goals in a month. First mission impossible: Not qualifying to the Olympics Qualification games; losing the spot to teams such as Malaysia, Kuwait (conceded 9 golas against South Korea in Asian games), Vietnam (conceded 4 goals against Iran im Asian games), Indonesia, Thailand (lost 2-0 to Iran). With only conceding 1 goal. 2- Losing to Hong Kong while having 4 clean sheets and 12 points in last 4 matches; scored 9 goals conceding 1 goal!!!! While this same Hong Kong qualified without a win (another new phenomenon in dirty AFC world) due to only having two teams in their group losing two times to Uzbekistan!!! Being eliminated at last with one goal conceded again!!!! I mean. Come on. The soccer. The technical side. Forget it. This guy is SHOOOOOOMMMMM

with this kind of love for TM Omid and TM, wha do you expect ?

IFF needs to stop trying to make everyone happy. Be firm in your fucking decisions. Football will be better off for it.
It was decided when acl schedule came out
no players from teams in acl for ag, but for Olympic q they give....
Knowing this plus he has 3 senior players spot
He shouldnt of invited players from pp is HIS FAULT, they agreed not to do it.
3 senior players why he taked 2 senior goalies?
He should of kept khaled abadi and for 3 senior players taked 2 good halfback and a forward.
To solve his scoring problems....all above mentioned is enayati fault.
real fault is amir galenoie, kashani was gonna bring gotbi or he was gonne pay rabie good money to come BUT GENERAL INSISTED ON ENAYATI.
REAL REAL FAULT IS INCOMPETENCE IFF.

This is so embarrassing losing to hngk in qf of tournment....it's like England losing to Luxembourg, faro island...
Hngk lost 10-0 3 weeks ago....
ANOTHER SUNDAY MORNING gone bad because of Persian football, and raiders quarter back is out vs chargers......

Age for an international squad isn’t as big of an issue as it was before. 2007-2015 were all very weak teams. I thought 2000 was one of our best (in terms of talent) but the team had no discipline thanks to players and Jalal Talebi.

I just don't understand why this can't be fixed.

Pay someone fulltime to nag the players during the game to not argue with the ref.

Remind the players every 5 minutes to play until the whistle.

If anyone breaks the rules they need to run 10km everyday for 3 days.

I think one of GN's strengths is condition and fitness. However it's also a reflection of club form for the players.

You're an old timer on this forum and I think we'd both agree this isn't our worst Asian cup squad at all.

I was specifically talking about conditioning and fitness. I look at other teams having better preparation. The players themselves say repeatedly that apart from Queiroz era, the nutrition and fitness work in camps was a joke. Be sure that UAE, Qatar, Saudi, will be having intensive physical and psychological regimes in the run up to the cup. Tournaments are a different ball game compared to 10 years ago, and especially with Saudi we can expect a huge push

We are not top 10 in conditioning or fitness specifically - in particular our domestic players. Possibly even worse. Taremi is game fit but even he has run out of steam in match 3 for our big tournaments

I know U23 and national team are different but we are going to get quite the wake-up call with the conditioning and fitness of our players in comparison with the top 10 teams in Asia. Suddenly getting wins in two consecutive world cups will seem like miracles.
