What about Alipour who stayed in Europe and I think only received maybe one invite to TM this entire time?Originally posted by Pluto2000 View Post
Mindset is much more important than talent imo. Staying fit and professional takes you a long way, look at people like Moghanlou/Asadi who went to Europe but came back immediately after a season because it got too hard. Same with Noorafkan at Charleroi.

He's been in Europe only for 2 years....1 of which he spent not playing because he completely tore his knee. He should have been invited much more frequently before his injury. I hope he can recover and regain form. I don't think its comparable, because this is only assuming unfortunate injuries and freak accidents don't happen.Originally posted by aria32 View Post

The assistant referee should get some blame here because he raised his flag calling for offside. Ever since VAR has been in use this is something that referees nowadays only do when they are certain of a play being offside. You could see on some of the Porto defenders that they stopped playing because they thought it had been called offside, so I understand their frustration.Originally posted by KasraKhan View PostLol, Porto stopped playing because they thought it was an offside but Shaktar scored, and the ref allowed the goal. Team Melli moment there.
