I love this club…only good memories with them. And yeah saeid’s decline and potential he never tapped is truly depressing. I remember after that goal he scored in the CL qualifier that he was for sure going to be a BL or Serie A fixed player in the coming years after.

Would be interesting if Russia joined AFC, would be a very short-sighted look by their federation but the level of competition imo matches theirs. Plus, ya know, their country is like 50% of asian land mass.Comment

What was wrong with developing in Portugal? He was really hyped up by the Portuguese press when the transfer occurred...if he doesn't have the talent then that's that...if he does have the talent, then it takes hard work and patience, not jumping between clubs and leagues every 1-2 years. Was he taking advice from Saeed?

It's tough but at the end of the day, Santa Clara relegated. Had they stayed up i'm sure theres a possibility he would've been given a bigger role on that team.
