Between last week and this week, Zob Ahan is playing the best football in the league when you consider their squad is an assortment of local pistachio farmers and carpet weavers.

Now I'm starting to understand why the football 360 people hype up the coach so much.

It's what people here hate to admit. The level of play in PGPL is not that bad. Someone who does ok in Ukraine or Hungary won't necessarily be a superstar in Iran.
What makes PGPL bad is all the off the field stuff.

Beiranvand was definitely out of place, but I think he's supposed to be to the side on throw-ins like that since Yahya keeps asking the team to play the ball out of the back.

Shahab Zahedi has been invisible thus far into the league. We loaned Abdi to TS, so practically we have no strikers other than the underperforming Zahedi

I'm biased too, but I think ref has been good. He's letting the play run for the most part.
That's why the game has a good speed.

Sadeghi finally subbed out. He has been bad so far this season despite his one goal.
