As of last night these teams have qualified from CONMEBOL:

Argentina
Brazil
Ecuador
Uruguay
Colombia
Paraguay

Venezuela is in the playoff spot with Bolivia one point behind and one matchday left to go.


In CAF:

Algeria and Tunisia won their games ans look likely to be the first teams to qualify from Africa next matchday

In CONCACAF:
Panama tied Suriname
El Salvador beat Guatemala 1-0


Not going to lie I saw the second half of the El Salvador game scrolling through Paramount and I think one of the North American teams is our only chance at a win this World cup.

It appears that the September 10-19th Phase 1 of ticket sales will only have the ability to select a city to play in without knowing what teams are playing there.

The only way to know for sure you can get Iran's game is to buy a hospitalist ticket for all three games + R32(thousands of dollars per ticket) or to wait for the First Come First served draw apparently after the draw in December.

Africa's qualifying has always been brutal.

As of now, Cape Verde is en route to qualify directly sending Cameroon to playoff.

In a brutal game for DR Congo, they lost to Senegal and were leapfrogged so Senegal have the advantage and DR Congo which was on top since Day 1 will be 2nd place

Probably the biggest story is that today South Africa tied Nigeria 1-1 and Nigeria have only two games left to catch up 6 points and beat them on GD. They are not even 2nd with Benin having 12 points to Nigeria's 11. It's likely Nigeria might miss the World Cup.
