I don't think he will be able to do much damage vs. Team Melli by himself. Kenya has no other good players. Olunga has better players around him in Duhail.

thought it was an overall decent and commanding performance from GN's TM ..!
yet i wonder how much of that was due to New Manager bounce and boys by enlarge putting insane amount of energy and effort into this game trying to make a case for their continued roles in GN's TM..!! (we looked pretty jacked and performed quiet admirably vs Uruguay too on CQ's 2nd stint and by enlarge sucked asss and underperformed afterwards..!! so lets see how we do next vs Kenya ..??
Or Perhaps it was more due to a rather weaker than usual Russian team overall quality..!!? i dont follow them so wouldnt really know..?
our finishing touches were horrid today but we certainly pressed pretty hard and impressively for very long stretches of the match...!! nevertheless, on the few times that russians countered, they looked a much more organized and tidy passing counter attacking team than us.... !! wonder why they didnt attempt countering more frequently nor at least send some forward balls over the top and try to run into tons of open space in our half of the pitch ..?? probably because we didnt allow them with immense effort put forward from our players on the pressing from the top front..!!

also must admit, although it seemed a bit of a scrapfest out there... it certainly was one of the more entertaining and exciting outings from TM, in quiet a long while..!! tbh, i was wishing 2nd half would go on for another 1/2 hr or more ... knowing boys will sooner or later score the winner..!! and was hoping to see more new players brought on off the bench and given a chance to strut their stuff..!! Asadi dude shoulda been subbed out at HT ... and noorafkan soon after ...moharami coulda been brought on a bit sooner as well..!!

when is the kenya game again..?? if coming up soon, we are sure to witness Team fatigue play a role in that match?

Overall:
- Not a bad game, obviously this Russian team is not super prepared. We attacked decently and with some cohesion, but were extremely wasteful. Defending looked good in the middle with the CBs, but did not see much from the wingbacks.

- Most players had an average game, and the subs were all useless

Positive Standouts:
- I think we really missed an opportunity in the WC not playing Kanaani and Khalilzadeh, their passes from the back are extremely accurate. In a day where our midfielders are not strong, these passes can create opportunities. Also wish Beiro did a few of those throws for us in the WC too..

- Mohebi had a nice game, still a bit of a raw talent but seems to have a lot of potential. Shocking that Wilmots saw this early on as useless as he was.

- Taremi is head and shoulders above any other player we have. He reminds of me of the time prime Dejagah joined TM against Qatar (feels like a lifetime ago), and you could tell he was 10x better than everyone else on the team. As always though, he manages to miss the shots anyone could put in

Negatives:
- During a time when we have too many strikers to choose from, Moghanlou should be no where near TM. This is a sign of shitty party bazi choices to come from our new "coach"

- The goal we conceded was 100% Ezatolahi's fault. His fumbled an easy to control pass, ran into the box, and fouled a player when literally Kanaani was standing next to him to cover in case he got away. He looks like he just is never in shape and never tries, he is very annoying because he has so much potential.

- Gholizadeh continues to be the most inconsistent player in TM, with signs of Shojaei (making sometime very simple constantly extremely complicated just so it will look good). The time when he took the pass from Taremi when Rezaein was open, he can just easily tap the ball into the net but he tries to take a touch to fake out the defender. Just fucking shoot it!
