Ramin played a great World Cup for sure and he will definitely be a good player this time too. But Sadegh is on another level this time I would say

I agree with you. If this Ramin competed with Sadegh he'd most likely get the go to start. As good as Ramin is and with his experience, I still think CQ will start Moharrami over him. Despite Sadegh's shortcomings, he's in great form overall and is ready to play high level football against the best. It's true, Leao made a fool out of Dinamo's defense. But we've watched Sadegh play great against the likes of Nunez and Mane. Ramin hasn't played consistent highly competitive football. We'll see, whatever CQ decides.

His crossing is way better than sadegh's, he is a threat from set pieces, one thing you cannot question is his fitness, but like mentioned he has a special heart. Football is an emotional game too and I think ramin when in the right frame of mind can raise his game to a really high level.

Defensively Sadegh's level is well blow that of Ramin ..! he is too stand-offish and more alarmingly switches off in vital moments on his key defensive assignments ..!
on the attacking front though i rate him overall better than ramin ..! but then again Ramin beats him handily on set-piece and cross delivery..!
Ramin hitting into twilight of his career so future looks brighter for sadegh..!
sadegh was essentially more at fault for conceding the first 2-3 goals vs england than any other player imo..! i knew CQ would bench him in this game..!

was in the stadium today and observing him closely. he blew me away. i can't believe this guy's career was in the dumpster and dead for TM. 1/100 chance CQ comes back and it resurrects ramin and we get the performance today. he's incredibly focused and intense. he also has an ego - he literally screams for the ball on offense every time. almost like he wishes he were a forward. it was ballsy of him to not pass the ball to the player to his right (torabi?) and chip it over.
