today, daei struck off Nouri along w omranzadeh and aghaei.
the last 2 names dont really bother me all that much at the moment, but Nouri's has some significance to it.

he didnt invite ASADI, who seems to be one of the better options we have in Iran for the LB post !!!
so it was natural to think he'd already set his mind on using NOURI for the post.
so who are we left with?
the ONLY man I can fathom he may use is Sadeghi. But didnt he say Sadeghi may take aghili's central role ?

PLEASE do NOT tell me we're going to see yet another branko-style "dasteh gol" by using sattar zareh in the LB AGAIN !!!
as if we need any more proof that he isnt suitable !!!!

its interesting that omranzadeh got striked off cos montazeri was invited as a backup for aghili while omranzadeh was part of the original invited list which means, logically, daei preferred omranzadeh over montazeri!
but then he kept montazeri and striked off omranzadeh??

im guessing either omranzadeh was too poor in training or montazeri too good??

One of the warning signs I have seen in Daei is "still being the player rather than the coach". He still talks about his playing time and his memories in that era. His talk regarding Kia was an obvious sign when he talked about his departure from the team.

I worry he tries to use the current team to justify his insisting present in TM at the time. How? By using inappropriate tactic, or too much respect for TM regular players, ...

Another sign, inviting Nikki, what the hell? Is he blind? How he doesn’t see that fat belly? The guy needs serious diet with a trainer for a year, he might then walk. I don’t think he will be ever run though.

But I give him the benefit of doubt until I see him how he does on the bench.

Your enemity with SS is like the Akhoonds and Rouzeh in Iran. No matter what, at the end they brought up the Saharaye Karbala. Dada SS had no role in any of this? It is not like SS won't play Rah Ahan again? After all we are talking Rah Ahan. Why SS needs to be scared of Rah Ahan. SS team is imprvoing granted not as much as it shoudl/could, but this whole conspiracy for SS is really redicolous.
SS is the supported team and PP has 6 players in the camp. Roudbarian is called up !!!! on a fairly suspect circumstances as does Vahedi and many other PP players and you keep repeating the SS is the favorite team with IFF?

I think under daei zare has te highest chance but still madanchi or niki could also be weaker choices though unlikely

All you typed was your opinion which I respect, but still all it is an opinion and not a single fact why SS is afraid of playing Rah Ahan. Don't Shah Shaykh only the SS. I admit Taj during the Shah's regime was close to the regime but to lesse degree so was PP under Abedoo. PP under Abdo which also was very close to the Shah. AS a pp fan you should remember Bowling abdeh in Shemeeran. PP under Abdoo/Abdeh was very different from Shahin under Dr. Ekrami, Hossein Fekri, Parviz Dehdari and those like them. well, if we have to take out anything from bahrain game that is somehow related to some of the issues we discussed in this thread is :

1- LB post.
beikzadeh as LB is not going to be the answer. he is good as left midfield but not a defender. we just witnessed it. that too against such a crappy team !!!

so dont you all agree NOT INVITING ASADI & STRIKING NOURI OFF are two major wrong decisions so far?


2- RIGHT MIDFIELD.
instead of pushing Shojaei , who is better suited in the center, to the right, wouldnt it make more SENSE to have called up and used a player who ACTUALLY PLAYS IN THAT POSITION DAILY ; kazemian ?


3- Aghili or Bengar.
who is more dependable and reliable in the defense?
now, isnt insisting on those two training days as reason to excuse Aghili seem idiotic and wrong ?

In 4-2-3-1 system, there is no place for a winger. The 3 midfield players are actually all center midfielders. Look at Barca or Arsenal the way they play. Only left and right D are playing on the line. That`s why Kia lost his position in Hamburg. So, there is no place for Kazemian in any 4-2-3-1 system.

Saying that, Kazemian is off-shape like the other Gulf players. Once for good, we gotta ban all players going there. They all are carrying 10+ KG and can`t even run any more.

My 2 cents though, I may be wrong.

daei had favoritism to have his players play for saipa, if players are the property of the club then he has to bow and accept aghili, and give esteghlals players to them then all is ok...but clearly it is not I am not creating any of this and it is not my opinion it did happen.
same daei that cut off our starter defender because of a whatever logic you call it calls up at best a mediocare estegh defender so that everybody is happy thats what happened!

reza jan, from my understanding , there are right and left wingers in the system who converge and attack the goal. but they also have to provide width to the team.
in barca, ronaldinho sometimes plays the left and he does provide a lot of width as well as other offensive duties.
same with messi, who often plays the right wing.
width is very important, especially when you are playing compact teams crowding their 18 with players.

but shojaei didnt do well when he was playing along the touchline. his game is more suited for a more spacious zone where he has both sides open to move into.
kazemian, though, is more comfortable with running along the touchline and providing width if necessary and crossing/centering balls.


now, why uae players?
well it is sad, coz in IPL we dont have too many options to do the job for us !
sheyss ? the guy belongs to kindergarten.
navazi? I dont think so.
E. sadeghi? not in form.

Doctor jaan, I would have given Kaebi the chance he has earned, and finally started him as rw. Kazemian has gotten plenty of chances and has never been good enough to solidify a spot.

Of course this would mean we would need to find a suitable rb or switch to three cb's in a different formation.

that's a pretty logical and sensible idea also.
kaabi as right mid is a very good option. I agree.

as for right back I wouldnt worry much. what we have is plenty of good right backs in Iran. shakouri, zareh, omranzadeh, nosrati ( if in form ) , koushki, ... can play the post.

my pick, of course is shakouri, as he's a tough guy who will cover behind kaabi pretty well. he also has the added advantage of height and heading ability in corners and freekicks for us. and if nosrati gets back in shape, why, things would be even better.

you guys remember the first thread in (new) F+ that I opened on Kaabi and Kia next to eachother in midfield?

I was always in favour of that option... Kaabi started his career as an offensive player and was only under branco forced to play RB, like Nosrati (right foot) was forced to play LB... to me Kaabi can be very useful on the wing, of course if we find a good RB.
