I still maintain that had much more to do with branko's illogical and moronic stubbornness against mobaali than Daei's incident.
branko was desperately searching for an excuse to not call him, and this provided a way out for him. being the gutless moron that he was, he ceased the opportunity since all eyes would be diverted towards DAEI , not branko !!
the idiot was doing all he could to discredit fringe players like kazemian, enayati, mobaali, ... etc.
his problem was that these players were producing good games in their clubs and fans' pressure was behind them. so he couldnt justify not calling them up for TM camps. so he used the next best thing, which is the odd minutes here and there , especially in second halves ( where wholesale changes in the team simply ruins any composition and coordination between the players ) or playing them in the wrong positions ...etc.
what REALLY gave away branko's devious atitude was when we played QPR and he criticised mobaali's performance while praising nosrati's and yahya's. when in reality, everyone who watched the game saw that the ONLY decent player, in a team that f**ked up royally, was mobaali and two of the WORST players were nosrati and yahya who were responsible for extremely shoddy defending that led to 2 of the 3 goals conceded !!
that was a clear indication of that moron's agenda.
clever chap. I only wish he used this smarts FOR THE TEAM and not for his own agendas !
