Tasnim – SINJAR, Ex-Iran U-23 coach Zlatko Kranjcar has been nominated to become head coach of Iranian football club Gol Gohar.

Gol Gohar parted ways with Vinko Begovic following poor results in Iran Professional League (IPL) and Iran’s Hazfi Cup.

Under the guidance of Begovic, Gol Gohar lost three matches and earned three draws in six matches.

Branko Ivankovic, Ali Daei, Majid Jalali and Firooz Karimi are also shortlisted to replace Begovic.

Kranjcar was fired as head coach of Iran U-23 football team in May after one year in charge.
