Tasnim – TEHRAN, Malian forward Modibo Maïga has been linked with a move to Iranian football club Persepolis.
The 31-year-old striker has most recently played at Buriram United of Thailand.
Maïga started his playing career at Malian club Stade Malien and has also played at French clubs Le Mans, Mets, Sochaux and Sochaux B.
He has also played at West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers.
A full international for Mali since 2007, he was part of their squads at the four Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, helping them to third place in the 2012 and 2013 editions.
