Anthony Stokes leaves Tractor Sazi

Tasnim – TABRIZ, Anthony Stokes has sent a message to the supporters at Tractor Sazi following the confirmation he will depart the club this summer after one year.

The 31-year-old forward scored 11 goals for the Tabriz-based football team in Iran league last season.

“My time with Tractor Sazi has come to an end. Very disappointed with how the club handled a lot of situations throughout my time there, and particularly how they treated me towards the end,” Stokes wrote on his Instagram account.

“Really enjoyed my football while I was in Iran and a big thank you to the fans who have been amazing with me from the first minute I arrived until now. Looking forward to the next chapter now.”
